Welcome to my home altar of 2023.  My mother n law passed away in December 2022, age 92. She, therefore, is at the center of the table altar for Day of the Dead, a tradition handed down to me by my mother, Ofelia Esparza, and that of her mother.  On this altar are my ancestors; my father, grandmothers, grandfathers, and great grandmother.
