Collections April 2018

Went to check out the annual Spring & Garden Show at South Coast Plaza shopping mall in Costa Mesa, Ca.  My favorite booth is the Wild Birds Unlimited store booth.  They are passionate about birding of course.  They usually have bird feeders and a variety of bird food on hand.  I get excited over that.  On this day I bought the following: 1) California native plant named Blue-eyed grass from the California Native Plant Society booth, 2) a book 'The Joy of Bird Feeding' written by the founder of Wild Birds Unlimited. Reading the introduction, I can see I will be happily preoccupied with this reading material.  A comprehensive book including the subject of which foods and feeders particular birds gravitate to,  Lots of photos on all the subjects of backyard birds and feeding, 3) A washcloth from the makers of threebluebirds.com, which is owned and operated by two woman from back East, made in the USA from 70% cellulose from FSC certified forests and 30% cotton. They are silkscreen printed with water based ink. Use them with water, soap, cleaning spray.  They are reusable and can be washed in the dishwasher,  4) Toucan planting pot from West Elm store made of terracotta and then hand glazed. Made in Portugal.  I love little finds.
